Pandemic puts strain on family food budgets

The COVID-19 pandemic has put a strain on the Kansas Food Bank in Wichita ... distributing food to agencies across 85 Kansas counties ... serving free food to those in need. Food Bank president Brian Walker tells KNSS News from the first of March until mid May the Food Bank distributed enough food for over three million meals ... a huge number for the Food Bank. Walker says many of these are first-time clients, as the COVID-19 pandemic has put a strain on many family food budgets.

Walker commented during the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
