Event Description:

Your support helps kids “Make Good Choices”! Through cooperative programs with USD 259 and not-for-profit organizations that work with life challenged youth, the Wichita Metro Crime Commission is committed to helping today’s young people complete their education, stay off drugs, and go down the right path to a successful future.
For many years Lt. Ken Landwehr was the commander the Wichita Police Department’s Homicide Section. He helped solve hundreds of murders in our community and led the taskforce that captured the “BTK” serial killer.
Ken Landwehr was a scratch golfer and believed in the WMCC’s “Make Good Choices” program. Because of his commitment to the Crime Commission and involvement in each year’s tournament, in 2014 the tournament was officially renamed the “Ken Landwehr Make Good Choices Golf Tournament”.
